Dental Monitoring

State-of-the-art DENTAL MONITORING allows Dr. Emerson to check your progress EACH week during treatment. Clear Aligner patients use their smartphones to take a quick, 3-minute scan each week at their home. Dr. Emerson uses this scan to instruct you to change to the next Clear Aligner set, continue wearing the current Clear Aligner set, or call the office for an in-person check. Dental Monitoring has been proven to reduce total treatment times because small problems are corrected before they become a hindrance to treatment. Watch this video to see just how easy it is to scan your teeth. Emerson Orthodontics will provide you with your retractor at the start of your Clear Aligners to help with your weekly scans.

Great! How does it work?

Clear Aligners are a system of trays, customized to your exact teeth, that gradually moves your teeth towards your ultimate smile goal. Dr. Emerson will meet with you and discuss your custom treatment plan. A state-of-the-art scan is taken of your teeth and a series of trays are constructed. Each tray is worn for 1-2 weeks. Your progress is monitored by Dr. Emerson until all treatment goals have been reached. After treatment is completed, retainers are used to keep your smile looking awesome.
