Early Treatment

The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) and American Academy of Pediatricians recommend all children see an orthodontist as early as age 7. This is to ensure that the upper and lower jaws and all permanent teeth are developing in a normal pattern.

The last adult tooth typically erupts between age 12 and 13. For many patients, this also represents the time they are entering the peak growth phase of their life. In most cases, this is the ideal time for Full or Phase II Orthodontics with Clear Aligners or Braces.
